Water.

It's 2:17 in the morning.
I should probably be in bed right now.
But there's one problem.
Almost everything that I own is on my bed.
Preventing me to sleep in it.
Also, the man in there vacuuming doesn't help.
That's right.
It happened again.
Our basement flooded.
And a ton of the water went right into my room.
So.
There is a man here sucking up all the water.
And another one trying to unclog our main line.
In the meantime.
I get to stay up in case they need me.
I can't complain though.
Nothing of mine was ruined.
I'll get to sleep eventually.
My management was SUPER quick about getting someone out here.
And they are really helpful.
We have amazing Christmas lights on our house.
Things are going well with school.
My grades this semester are better than ever before.
I have great friends who are so willing to help.
I have an amazing family who loves me.
So.
You know what crappy old house basement flood?
You can't beat me.

Thanksgiving 2009

This Thanksgiving I wanted to give a special shout out to my wonderful family. They are an amazing family and I couldn't be happier. I made this video to tell them the reasons why I am thankful for them. Enjoy.

If that doesn't work, just copy and paste this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Upxtr74V4HM

Foul Odors

So, this semester, among other buildings, I work in the Talmage building as a tech support person. For some reason this building smells something FIERCE! I'm not saying the people in the building smell bad, just the building. I walk into that building and it's super humid and it smells like death. I don't know why. Just an observation.

My First Quilt!

With A LOT of help from my mom, I finished my first quilt! I used all of my old t-shirts from high school. I wanted some way to keep them and carrying them around in a bag or something would be just weird, so this was a perfect way to preserve my memories! My mom helped me figure out the layout and helped me cut them into squares. Then I had to iron each square on to some interfacing thing to make it not so floppy. Then I sewed it all together. Then my mom embroidered "Lone Peak Knights" and "Class of 2007." Then I pinned the back to the batting and the top, then my mom used her handy machine and quilted these cute swirly things on it. I love it! It's so comfy and so fun to have. I can't wait to start my college t-shirt quilt! Here it is!

And here is the sweet embroidery job my momma did:

100% Attendance... so far.

School has been in session for 28 days so far, and I have been to every SINGLE class. This is a big deal for me. I usually skip a few classes within the first week of school. I am hoping to have 100% attendance this semester. It's gonna be rough. But, I think I can do it.

Also, I cut 5 inches off my hair. It's still long, but not crazy long like it used to be. I like it though. Here is a picture I took in my office today on my computer. Enjoy.

Indecent Proposal

There I was, Monday afternoon walking across campus.
I was at work, and I had just finished moving a projector in the Talmage building.
I race out of the unbelievably bad smelling building and make my way towards the HFAC.
I'm walking fast, my hair blowing in the wind, my little feet shuffling.
When all of the sudden I'm stopped.
"Can I ask you a question?"
This isn't unusual to be stopped while walking across campus, so I comply.
Then, all of the sudden the stranger is down on one knee.
"Will you marry me?"
He holds out a sparkling ring.
Why in the heck are you doing this?
I ask in my mind, then I tell a simple lie:
"Sorry, I'm taken."

I finally did it!

After 20 years of holding back, I finally pierced my ears. It was a good decision, and I am already enjoying my new earrings. It's kind of annoying to have to clean my ears 3 times a day, but in 6 more weeks I'll be done. I like them. And I am excited to wear the pearl earrings Isaac and Taniel gave me for my birthday!

An Awakening of Sorts...

This was me about 2 years ago, before I had realized that something in my life was missing. As you can see, I couldn't quite see where to go or what to do with my life. It was not hard, because I didn't realize that something was missing. I was living a life in ignorance. But then, a few months later, I did something that changed my entire life for good. What is it that could possibly effect my life so much? you may ask. Well, I'll tell you. I decided to overcome my pride and read the Harry Potter series.

I did it because my two best friends Kylar and Erin were completely in love with them, and they wanted me to experience the same love. I had such a hatred for it. I told everyone that I wasn't into those sort of fantasy books, and it just seemed all together weird. But one summer, I decided to humble myself to read the books. After all, it was the summer before I moved out to college, so what better time to have a summer of reading?

It started out simple. I read the first book: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. I read it over the weekend. Simple stuff. It was pretty good. So, I moved on to the next. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets. This one had some more twists, also only took about 3 days to read. Then I read Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. This is where it started getting REALLY good. I would lock myself in the closet just so I could read. I would have read-a-thons with Laura and Jared so that I could read as much as possible. It had so many twists and surprises, I couldn't help but love it.

Next came Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Another great one. Unfortunately, While I was reading it, we got tickets to the advance showing of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. So, I had to learn the end of the Goblet of Fire before I could see the movie. So when I had finally finished the book, I already knew what was going to happen. I think I really would have enjoyed that being a surprise, but oh well. Also, while I was reading the Goblet of Fire, I went to the midnight release for the final book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I figured I had to go to at least one midnight release of the books in my life time. It was so much fun. I enjoyed every second of it, and I was so excited to finally get around to reading the very last one. Also, this was about the time that the rest of my family decided to jump on the Harry Potter train (also known as Hogwarts Express). It was so fun to watch all the movies with them, cast spells at each other, and constantly talk Harry Potter.

Since I had already seen the Order of the Phoenix, reading through it was a rather difficult task. As it is the longest book and probably the hardest to really get into, at least for me. I was tired of Harry complaining and I loathed Umbridge. But, eventually, I got through it. Then I started Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. This was a great book, very intriguing. Unfortunately, I had to stop mid-way because I started my Freshman year of college, and didn't have any time to read books that weren't for my classes. So, four months later during Christmas break, I was able to finish it. Then I had to start Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows before I went back to school. So, I dedicated most of my time to reading it. Such an AMAZING book. I sat in the family room reading, but then realized the serious amount of tears streaming down my face, and that if anyone saw me I would feel like an idiot. So, I locked myself in my room and continued reading. I was sobbing into my pillow. There was a point I even had to stop reading and catch my breath. I couldn't believe how amazing this book was, and how much I was into it. I finally finished the book and loved every second of every page of every book. It was fabulous.

Well, this past week, my Harry Potter experience has grown even more. I was able to go to the midnight release of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Not only did I just go to the midnight release, but I was dressed up as Hermione Granger. I had become one of them. I had become exactly what I used to think was the absolute weirdest one could possibly get. But I didn't care. I had the time of my life. I was surrounded by fellow Hogwarts lovers, I couldn't be happier.

Now, let's compare this picture, to the one at the beginning of the post. I look happier. My eyes aren't all cross-eyed. My hair color is better. My hair is pretty and curly. I have a sweet wand. I have a gryffindor sweater on. Clearly, I just look happier. And that my friends, is what Harry Potter has done for me.

The Original Tres Leches

I spent this past weekend in Texas with some of my really good friends for our friends wedding. We had a lot of fun. After driving 20 dang hours, we arrived in Austin, Texas. We went and got dinner, watched a movie, walked around the Texas State Capitol Building, swam in the pool, then watched another movie and went to bed. The next day, we woke up and went to the wedding luncheon at this really yummy Mexican restaurant. I will tell you the rest about this restaurant later, but for now, we'll just finish up the Texas trip.

After the luncheon, we went to the San Antonio temple. Those of us who didn't go to the sealing just hung out in the waiting room and walked around the gorgeous temple grounds. After all the pictures and everything were done, we went to the outlet malls in Austin. They were HUUUGE! It was awesome. A shopper's dream come true. Oddly enough, I didn't buy anything. Probably because I was with two boys. Oh well, my wallet thanks them.

After we were done shopping, we headed to the reception in North Austin. It was a lot of fun, and there were a ton of delicious foods. Then we slept at my friend Mitchell's aunt's house. Then woke up, went to church and headed back home. It was a long time to be in a car, but we made it! Driving that long has definitely made me a firm believer in flying. Anyway, Texas was a blast and it was fun to spend so much time with my friends.

Now, as for the Mexican restaurant...

We started off with some delicious chips and salsa. Then we got our entree. I had a chicken breast half covered in a chipotle sauce, and the other half covered in a creamy cilantro sauce. It was delish. Then, we were all SOOO excited because for dessert we would be receiving tres leches. This restaurant, mind you, is FAMOUS for their tres leches. They claim to have the recipe for the original tres leches. I had never had it before, but I had heard nothing but good things, so I was super excited to try it. So, they brought it out, and we were all drooling over it because it looked so tasty. I get a big bite that had strawberries with it, knowing that that will be even better than just the cake. I put it in my mouth, looking forward to the explosion of delicious flavor about to occur. Once I put it in, I was really, really confused. This was DISGUSTING! Did I miss the tres leches boat? Was this one of those things that people acquire a taste for, or where you pretend to like it because it seems cultured? I don't know. All I know, is this cake is disgusting. I then start wondering if I am the only one who feels like this. I look up at the rest of the table, they all have confused looks on their face. We all start whispering to each other, asking if their cake tastes funny. Luckily, everyone felt the same way I did, so I didn't miss the tres leches boat. My favorite part was looking at one of the kids who was most excited about receiving the cake, and watching him take his first bite. He firmly put his fork to the table then looked up and asked if it was a joke. We were all laughing looking around at the entire wedding party with such disgusted and confused looks on their face. It made for a hilarious story, and we joked about it the rest of the day.

So what was wrong with the cake, you may ask? Well here is a recipe I found for tres leches:
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
9 egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup milk
9 egg whites
1 teaspoon cream of tartar

2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

Strawberries coated in 3 cups of sugar

.... Now the recipe they used was only a little bit different.
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
9 egg yolks
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup milk
9 egg whites
1 teaspoon cream of tartar

2 cups heavy whipping cream
1 (5 ounce) can evaporated milk
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

Strawberries coated in 3 cups of SALT

Hahaha! It was so sick, but so funny. I am so glad that I got to be a part of that. I can't imagine making a mistake like that. I have no idea why they didn't taste it before they brought it out. Or why they didn't correctly label their salt and sugar containers. Needless to say, they didn't have to pay for the desserts and I'm guessing they got a BIG discount on the rest of the food. On a completely unrelated note, if any one is looking for a new and creative chef to make tres leches, I am sure you can find one in San Antonio, Texas.

Hike the Y: CHECK!

Going to BYU involves a certain right of passage, and that is to hike the Y. Well, I finally did it last night with some guys in my ward. It was harder than I thought it would be, what with it being so steep. But I still had a lot of fun. I'm really glad that I finally did it since I have been planning on doing it since I moved here. I don't have any plans to do it again anytime soon, but it was a fun time with my friends and I finally did it. Hooray.

Sorry if that's annoying, but it's sooo much faster to post pictures on facebook than it is on blogger.

SOOO, here's what we did:

Thursday, April 30: We woke in the wee hours of the morning and drove down to Phoenix, Arizona (tickets were almost 200 bucks cheaper out of Phoenix). We stayed with our friend Mitchell's parents. They were SO nice and so great to let us stay with them

Friday, May 1: We woke up early again and drove to the airport and got on our plane to Honolulu. It was a 6 hour flight and a lot of fun. Then we landed, got our rental cars (which got upgraded for free, sweet!). Then we went and dropped our stuff off at the hotel and then headed straight for the beach. We went to Waikiki which has a TON of rocks and coral, and I cut my first in like the first 15 minutes. It was pretty bad, so that put a damper on the rest of the trip, but I made due. After we played around in the beach we went and got groceries and then ate dinner. After that, we went and had a nice moonlit beach walk. It was gorgeous and so fun. Then we came back and went to bed at about 9 p.m. haha. We went to bed before 10 every night of the trip and then woke up at 6 am and felt like we were sleeping in. It was AWESOME!

Saturday, May 2: We got up early and then a van came and picked us up at our hotel and took us to Hanauma Bay where we went snorkeling. It was SUCH an amazing experience. So many different kinds of fish and it was just soo cool to see all of them. We swam with sea turtles, octopi and the hawaiian state fish humuhumunukunukuapua'a. We came in for a break and chilled on the beach, ate lunch and then right back out. It was so much fun. Then we went kayaking out in the ocean. We kayaked out to a small island and rode the waves for a while, it was such a blast. Afterwords, we came back to our hotel and Robby grilled burgers outside on the BBQ. It was so fun. We just played cards and ate delicious hamburgers. Then we went shopping at the international marketplace for souvenirs.

Sunday, May 3: We woke up and drove to a church near Pearl Harbor. It was so fun to be at their ward. There were so many darling polynesian kids everywhere. Sacrament meeting was awesome and it was so fun to be there. Then we headed over to Pearl Harbor and went to the Arizona Memorial. Such a cool experience. Everyone was silent and it was really awesome to be there. Then we headed over to the USS Missouri. We walked all around that and saw the peace treaty that was signed there to end the war. So cool. Then we came back to our hotel and had wonderful Sunday naps. Then we drove out to the temple. The drive out was amazing! The mountains were gorgeous and there were beautiful trees everywhere. Then we got the temple and took pictures all over the temple grounds. It is such a beautiful temple, I LOVE it! Then we went into the visitors center where they have a room full of polynesians singing songs. I sat and listened to that for like a half hour. I LOVE the way they sing, it is so gorgeous. Their harmony is amazing. After hanging out at the visitors center for a while, we drove back to our hotel and went to bed

Monday, May 4: We went to the Dole Plantation and played there. We went on the pineapple express and saw all the pineapple fields and banana trees and everything else you can think of. It was pretty fun. Then we went and saw all of the crazy sucker fish. They were kind of creepy. Then we went in and bought some dole whips and some pineapple, it was delicious. Then we headed to the Polynesian Cultural Center. It was AWESOME! We started out in the island of Samoa where they lit a fire using sticks and coconut husks, cracked a coconut in half, and climbed coconut trees. It was SWEET! Then we went to Aeoteora or something like that, which is basically New Zealand. They were one of my favorites. They sang and danced and were amazing! I had chills the whole time. Then we learned to swing poi balls, we weren't very good at it haha. Then we went to the island of Hawaii. He played the nose flute, the ukulele and a hawaiian girl did a hula for us. It was awesome. Then we went to the river thing and waited for the canoe pageant. I made a friend with one of the guys on the samoa canoe, he kept waving and making faces at me and giving me the shaka sign during the pageant. It was great :) haha. All of the islands came out on canoes and performed dances, it was so awesome. Then we went to the island of Tonga and they played the drums and sang, it was really awesome. Then we went to Tahiti where they taught us to shake like they do, it's all in the knees. They go INSANELY FAST! It was awesome. Then we went to Fiji and played with bamboo and sang songs. It was really fun. Then we went to the Luau and had delicious foods and watched them dance. Then we went to the Horizons night show where they did more dancing, and then FIRE DANCING! It was AWESOME! Then we went back to the hotel and slept.

Tuesday, May 5: We woke up and went canoeing out in Waikiki. We rode the waves in with the surfers, it was a lot of fun. Then we got surfboards and tried that. I didn't try for very long, but I didn't get up. It's hard stuff! ahha. Then we met Sarah's friend, Curtis (who goes to BYUH) and he took us to the town of Haliewa. We got lunch and then walked to Matsumotos for some shave ice. It was delicious, with the exception of the azuki beans. They were sick. Then we went to a great beach and boogie boarded forever. We found that when you boogie board that much you get a lot of sand in a lot of different places :). Then we went to Waiamea Bay and played in the waves there. The waves were HUGE! Sarah and I boogie boarded on about 5, they were like 10 feet tall! It was insane! But so much fun. Then we just sat on the beach and watched the boys body surf in them. It was so fun, they got beat up by the waves, but they loved it! Then Curtis took us on a hike that overlooked Waiamea. It was so fun and so gorgeous, I cut my foot again, that was great :) Then we went back to our hotel, had dinner and when to bed.

Wednesday, May 6: We got picked up and went to hike Diamond head. It was a really fun hike, but there is a spot with a bunch of steep stairs that weren't the funnest :) It was an awesome view all over the island and a lot of fun. After the hike, we all went and rented mopeds. It was AWESOME! We rode all around and saw a bunch of great views and really nice houses. Such a blast. Then we went on a catamaran sail boat. In the first ten minutes we saw a bunch of whales and dolphin. It was SWEET! Then for the next hour and fifty minutes, we sat there and got really hot and sick. hahaa. When I go back to Hawaii, I definitely won't do that again :) Then we went back and the girls went shopping at the international marketplace while the boys picked up stuff at walmart. Then we headed back up to Waiamea Bay and the boys body surfed some more and jumped off the cliffs. It was so fun to watch them. Then we went to Hukilau beach and met up with Curtis and we had a campfire on the beach. The moon was so bright. We roasted marshmallows, starbursts and pineapple. It was so much fun. Such a great way to spend our last night in Hawaii. We got home at about midnight, and we were all dead tired since that was so late for us haha.

Thursday, May 7: This was our last day, so we all did what we liked the best. The boys went snorkeling, Laura and Sarah went shopping and Melodie, Monique and I went mopeding again. We found this great road that followed the coastline all along the island. It was soooo awesome! After we were done, we dropped off our rental car, headed to the airport and got on the plane. It was really hard to leave such a beautiful place.

This is a really long post, sorry :) But a few more final thoughts. I loved this trip, it was so amazing to see everything that God created. The different plants, the mountains, the flowers, the fish, the water, the beach, the rocks, everything! It was a really spiritual experience. I also loved experiencing the culture. It is so cool to think about how people all around the world have different beliefs and different ways of doing things, but we all have the same Father in Heaven. It's really cool. I am so grateful for the opportunity to spend a week with my best friends experiencing some of God's most beautiful creations!

Life as of Late

I am a junior. A junior. I am a junior in college. How weird is that? I still have no major, but hopefully I'll get into the Music Ed program this next year.

AAAND, I'm on my way to Hawaii tomorrow. It's going to be fabulous. Get excited for the millions of pictures that I plan on posting when I get back. Farewell!

The Lovely Month of March

March has been a fabulous month. We started it out by going to the Junior Prom at Melodie's old high school in Henefer. Yes, that is my junior prom dress. We decided to be funny and dress up for the prom. They had all the junior class do a promenade and then a little dance thing. It was hilarious and awesome. Not at all like my high school's prom.
Then, it was Laura's 25th birthday. I made her a Barbie birthday cake. It was so fun and she really liked it!

Also, for Laura's birthday we went and celebrated at her favorite restaurant Goodwood. It was delicious. This is a pic of Lars looking smokin' on her birthday.

For FHE one night we played with sidewalk chalk on our driveway. Our friend Stuart wrote this on our front doorsteps. So true :)

This is my niece Hannah. She had her very first violin recital. She did an AMAZING job! She is so cute and so talented!

This is Me and Hannah after her recital.

This is all of our friends at our Feaster dinner. What is Feaster? you ask. Well, it's a fake Easter feast. It was delicious. We made a TON of food and had a fun time with all of our friends.

After our Feaster dinner, we lined up from youngest to oldest to go into the living room for a Feaster egg hunt! You can see Taniel's excitement beaming from her face haha.

This is everyone looking for their eggs. Yes, Curtis was looking in the guitar haha.

Then we ended the Feaster festivities with a traditional Feaster song. It was a another successful made-up holiday.

March was a lot of fun, and I am even more excited for April. There is only 2 more weeks of school left, and then I'll be a Junior. I can't believe that I'll be a Junior in college. It's weird. Then after school is over, it's off to Hawaii with my friends! I am so excited!

I'm Leavin' On a Jet Plane...

I am officially going to Hawaii. I didn't think this day would ever come until I was at least 50, but now at the ripe young age of 19, almost 20 I am going to Hawaii. I am going with my cousin Sarah, my sister Laura, my roommate Melodie, my almost roommate Monique, our friend Robby, our friend Brady, and two of Robby's friends. We will leave on Thursday, April 30 at about 9 a.m. to drive down to Phoenix. Then we will play there and then sleep at Robby's sister's house. Then we will wake up in the wee hour of probably 5 a.m., get ready and then head to the Phoenix airport to fly at 8 a.m. We are flying Hawaiian Airlines and the tickets were 300 dollars ROUNDTRIP. It's amazing how stinkin' cheap they are right now. I highly recommend you buying some tickets.

Then we will arrive in Hawaii at about noonish. Where we will get a rental car and check into our hotel. Then we will walk 200 yards from our hotel to Waikiki Beach! Which looks a little something like this...
We are going to go on some sort of great hike to a waterfall or something, we are going to go to the PCC. We are probably going to go to Pearl Harbor. We will go snorkeling, shopping at the international marketplace and then just lounge on the beach for the rest of the time. I am so excited I can't even stand it. How often am I going to get to go to Hawaii with my best friends? Not very often, I'll tell you that much.

If any of you have any inexpensive ideas of things we could do while we are down there, that would be fabulous!

Martha Needs...

Ok, so I found this idea on Darrell's blog. I found it HILARIOUS. So I had to post it. What you do is type in your first name and then the word needs afterwords. So I typed in "Martha needs" and these are the top 5 results.

Martha needs to rebuild her self-confidence by identifying why it has been so difficult for her to establish and maintain friendships

Martha needs to pick a better place to hang out if she wants to lie, conspire and obstruct justice.

Martha needs a publisher to spruce up her magazines

Martha needs a BIG attitude adjustment if for no other reason than the way she treats people

Martha needs to get off the playground with the rest of the kids and act her age

Apparently, there are a lot of mean, conniving people named Martha. That is really quite a shame. But it was funny to see what came up!

A Year of 2008 In Pictures

I decided to make a "year in pictures" post as it seems a lot of other people have, and I enjoy looking at their's so i thought I would make one of my own ;).

This picture is the first day of Winter Semester 2008. I'm with my roommate Chelsea in the dorms. Apparently, I looked somewhat Chinese at the beginning of the year.

This picture is another one of Chelsea and I. We wanted to go sledding, but we didn't have any sleds. So instead, we used garbage bags. That was by far my favorite way to go sledding. You just put the garbage bag on, poking holes for your legs to go through, and you go INSANELY fast down the hill. So much fun.

This is when Chelsea and I went to the Jonas Brothers Concert. Chelsea got 2 tickets for her birthday, and since I was the only other person who even knew who the Jonas Brothers were, she took me along. We had a total blast hanging out with all the 8 year girls.

The Jonas Brothers.

This is a picture of me rock climbing. At the beginning of the year our family became hard core wall climbers. It was a lot of fun.

This is my niece Hannah, Me and my sister Laura at our annual Cinco de Marcho party. It's SOO much fun. Cinco de Marcho is one of my favorite holidays. We make home made Cafe Rio, have a pinata, all the good stuff.

This was my very first trip to Henefer, Utah. I went with a bunch of friends to the Dearden Residence and had a total blast eating delicious food and sledding down the mountain.

This is when I finally got my self a laptop. Not just any laptop, but a Macbook. We had a lot of fun the first little while playing on the beloved application, Photobooth.

On April 1, 2008 My beautiful niece Brooklyn Proctor was born. She is a total doll and so much fun to play with.

At the end of the semester, I moved out of Heritage Halls. But, of course we had to take the classic cheesy roommate pictures.

My friend Russell and I from Freshman year the day we all moved out.

My best friend Erin and I finally reunited after many months of not hanging out. It's always so fun to play with her. This picture pretty much sums up our friendship ahah.

In May my whole family ran the Race for the Cure. It was SO much fun! It was so great to see Mom in the Pink Survivor shirt walking the Survivors finish with Dad. It was really sweet.

In the summer, I moved into a new house with some friends. We painted the inside a great red color. It looks sooo much better now.

This is when I went with a bunch of friends to Moab, Utah. We hiked up to the Delicate Arch. It was so pretty!

This is the group of us in Moab.

Many summer days were spent sitting on my porch with these girls. GOOD times. How I miss them.

And summer nights were spent with these folks. We were crazy and it was the best summer ever.

This is when I went to the Seconhand Serenade concert.

This was my 19th Birthday party. I had a lot of fun and got a lot of hilarious presents.

My three best friends at my birthday party. My sister Laura, Erin, Me and Kylar. I love these girls.

This is me and my niece Hannah on my birthday. A bunch of people think that she looks like a mini-me in this picture.

This was an F.H.T. (Family Home Tuesday) that started out at Chocolate Pudding Finger painting, but ended in me dunking this poor boy's bald head into the pudding bowl. It was a lot of fun.

This was your average trip to the hospital cafe at 3 a.m. We were all so out of it, but it was a complete blast.

The youngest of the Proctor Fam at the Strawberry Days Rodeo. SO much fun.

I sent my very best friend off on his mission to Cambodia.

This was when I went to Henefer for the 4th of July. These were the potato races. Completely weird, yet awesome.

This was the 4th of July kickball game at home in the backyard.

I spent many a summer days cheering for the ward softball team. Here's Isaac throwing a mean curveball.

This was before we painted the outside of our house.

And this was after! It looks sooo much better now. Thanks to everyone in the ward who came and helped.

I went boating with friends and had the time of my life. I really love boating.

This is me kneeboarding on the same boating trip. Oh how I miss summer.

The SUHWEET shirts we made for Pioneer day. The shirts will forever smell like onions and garlic since I used the cutting board for an ironing board. sick.

Same day, we went up the mountain and watched all of the fireworks in the valley.

This was for a formal stake dance, but clearly when they say formal they mean 80's.

The girls that got me to dress up 80's. That was such a ridiculously fun night.

Whenever we went to Mom's for Sunday dinner we would end it by going out on the deck and talking. It was so nice and so fun. And I was tan, that was nice.

We had an awesome White Trash Bash.

That also included a bounce house.

Me and my best friends at the Breaking Dawn Release.

With our books!

At the best parade of ALL TIME, the Highland Fling with my niece and nephews

My cousin Sarah and Laura moved in with me!

Some of our friends in the ward had a hot tub and filled it with orange soda. It was SO sick, but of course, unbelievably awesome.

It rained hard one night, so clearly we had to go puddle jumping.

This was at our ward Western dance party at our Bishop's cabin.

All of the girls got to go to the Relief Society Meeting and listen to Mom sing in the choir.

This was our Fall Break. "But? BYU doesn't have a Fall Break?" you may ask. Well my response, "They do if you make one." Best. Break. Ever.

We all got fish for our house. Dragon Slayer, Gil, Adagio, Def Kwon, and Spike who is not pictured. They don't get along very well seeing as they are betta fish.

Shotgun shooting. Hard core.

My friends and I at the High School Musical 3 Midnight Release! It was soooooo amazing and so much fun. Yes, we did PAINT those shirts and they looked awesome. Everyone was jealous.

Me, Laura and Sarah dressed up as 80's prom for the ward Halloween Party. SO fun.

Our roommate photo shoot. We are retards. But at least we are hot retards.

Our family's annual Harvest Party. Yes, I did use Laura's arm the entire time to get my donut off that string.

My best friend Kylar got married.

This is the 3 of us at her reception.

Our apartment had a "Fakesgiving" dinner. Thanksgiving dinner, but it was 2 weeks early. I made a turkey and it was delicious.

More of the dinner.

The 3 of us at the Midnight Release of TWILIGHT! SO fun! But it was freezing waiting outside in line!

My brother Isaac got engaged to my friend Taniel.

I went to the zoo with my darling nieces and nephews

We put Christmas lights up on our house.

We took cheesy Christmas pictures in ugly Christmas turtlenecks, then made a letter and sent it out to the ward.

More of the pictures.

And that is it! 2008 Has been a complete blast and I loved every minute of it! I can't wait to see what 2009 has in store!
