Rock Climbing, AGAIN!
Over President's Day weekend, my family and I went rock climbing again. It used to just be something my Dad and brother would always do, but now we've all gotten into it. It is so much fun. And I am very proud to say that I made it to the top more than once this time. I am slowly but surely overcoming my fear of heights :). There was one time, however, that I did not make it to the top. It was a really easy climb (one of the kid ones with numbers and shapes instead of rocks haha) but right when I was about two feet away from the top I panicked and told my sister that I wanted to come down. She told me she wasn't going to let me down and that I had to make it to the top. So I just hung there until she let me down, haha. That was just at the beginning, towards the end I was going up to the top every time on the real climbs, not the kid ones. All in all, it was a pretty fun day with the fam.

Garbage Bags are this year's sled.
A few weekends ago I came back to my apartment from my sister's house around midnight. I come home to find my roommates and our friend Kyle just sitting there looking for something to do. So we decided that we were going to embrace the snow rather than sit around hating it, and go sledding. The bad news was that we didn't have any sleds. So we got cut-outs of cardboard boxes and we figured we would just put garbage bags over them to make them go fast.
We went on the hill by the Bell Tower and started going down the hill. Later on, I came to find out that by simply wearing the garbage bag, you could go INSANELY fast down the hill. It was great. So we all tried it and had a blast.
Then towards the end, we decided that we needed something more. So we crafted an awesome jump for the bottom of the hill. Now this wasn't the best feeling going down the jump seeing as the only thing between us and the jump was a thin garbage bag, but it sure was fun.
I am almost positive that I won't be using a sled for any more of my snow adventures with my new discovery of garbage bag sledding.

The Jonas Brothers Concert
This last weekend my roommate and I went to the Jonas Brothers Concert up a the E Center. She got tickets for her birthday and she took me with her to the concert. We had a so much fun. This picture above is us right after we got our new Jonas Brothers T-Shirts. Hahahaha.
The average age at the concert was probably 10 or 11. There were TONS of little girls there, some of them still in Elementary school. I have to admit, it was hilarious being there with a bunch of little girls, when my roommate and I are 18. We got a lot of weird stares, which was to be expected. But we were definitely not the oldest ones there! There were old ladies there, we figured that they were just taking their daughters or grand daughters, but they were no where to be found.
One problem I had with this concert was all the screaming girls. I mean, it's one thing to get excited to see them and scream-when they aren't singing. But these girls would just jump up and down screaming during the whole song. What's the point of the concert? To go hear people perform their music. You can scream along to the CD at your house-for free! Anyway, besides that we had a total blast, even if we did look weird for being there.

Los Hermanos=Good
On Friday night, my roommates and I all went to Los Hermanos for my roommate Chelsea's Birthday. This is the first time any of us have ever been there. I had always heard really good things about it, and had always wanted to go since I am madly in love with Mexican food. Well, I finally got to go! After you sit down, they bring out some chips and salsa. These are no ordinary chips and salsa, they are divine! haha. I loved them. And the best part is, they keep bringing more and more. We also found out that they have DELICIOUS drinks, such as: Strawberry Daiquiris and Raspberry Strawberry Coladas- I highly recommend them. And we found out if you go for someones birthday, they will sing them a song and bring you a bowl of fried ice cream for free! It was WAY good. I am a big fan.
